Well it has been a while. Sorry to those who have been hanging out for more news.
We've been quite busy over the Christmas holidays. lot's to do in the gardens too. What with all that lawn and trees falling over and general gardening there's been heaps to do.

Two big Blackwood trees got to heavy and fell over near Rose Cottage. Tim has trimmed them up in the hope they will survive (Blackwoods are very resilient) So far so good. They are great for climbing.
Tim couldn't resist this photo of the sunset from Bear cottage. A beautiful view. (in my opinion). Note the Blackwood that also fell running from centre to right side of pic. Tim also trimmed this one up and so far it is surviving.
The swamps came up to the average level. This pic was taken in Sep.
Then late in Dec. Tim spotted this flower. Turns out it's the elusive Potato orchid. COOL! The first one ever found in the South east was in Telford scrub conservation park on Grundy's Lane in 2008. Nice find! Any of you orchid lovers need a new hunting ground. There are many varieties here in our scrub.
